When writing fantasy, theres nothing more important than having some spooky creatures to take your novel to the next level. That being said, lets take a look at some!
THE BLOOD THIRSTY
KILLERS
Let's face it. If you happen to sail into a tail of sirens . . . well that's just bad news. Sure, at first they appear from the ocean as beautiful women. But once their lullaby penetrates your brain, you and the other sailors find yourself frozen - as though trapped inside your own body. And just as their ethereal bodies descend upon the deck of the ship, their torn, white gowns flowing softly in the wind . . . you feel your eyes close.
In that moment, their skin changes into grotesque, scaly flesh and their fanged mouths open up, revealing what resembles bloodied steel traps. Hopefully, you are fast asleep before you feel their wrath.

THE BRUTE FORCE
Axe wielding and fully armored, these brutal, skeletal beasts are capable of leveling even the largest of villages.
Once summoned from the sky, Death Angels rain down as black comets - pummeling the Earth before uncurling, and demolishing everything in their path.
These intelligent creatures can be described as Edward's "cavalry," and any encounter with them will prove to be extraordinarily deadly.

THE ARMY OF DEAD
These creatures serve mindlessly for whoever happens to be in possession of The Shadow's Relic.
They do not think. They do not contemplate. They only serve to kill . . . and eat.
But do not mistake these zonbis as your regular, bumbling, slow moving walking dead. No - these flesh eaters, as the townspeople call them, are fast, agile and vicious. They can sprint, they can leap, and they go straight for the kill.
It is these creatures that will serve as Edward's shock troops - for they do not feel pain . . . and they do not show mercy.
